Rings
Seamless rolled rings on one of our radial ring rollers, offer improved concentricity and smooth surfaces as compared to plate burn-outs, or butt welded rings. Rolled rings save material machining rings from bar stock by not having to bore out the inner diameter. Our CNC programmed machines ensure repeatability from ring to ring, with close tolerance rolling to minimize machining off excess metal. We have the capability of rolling rings up to 48" in diameter and up to 14" in thickness or height, 1500# max.
Forged and rolled rings offer controlled grain flow, which gives strength and resistance to impact and fatigue as compared to plate and welded materials. Anderson Shumaker offers the best lead-time in the industry, some alloys ban be shipped within days!
