New Equipment & Second Shift

To keep up with growing demand and business growth, Anderson Shumaker has added new equipment and a second shift of operations for the newly expanded facilities.

Business continues growing in most sectors of Anderson Shumaker and the new equipment additions will help facilitate our trademark quick deliveries. Our added equipment and new second shift personnel, expand our abilities in heat treating, saw cutting and machining.

The added facilities have increased the sizes and dimensions that Anderson Shumaker can manufacture. Thanks to our highly skilled employees our new facility is performing better than anticipated which facilitated the addition of new equipment and employees.

New Plant Expansion!

 After nearly two years of construction Anderson Shumaker has completed its 26,000 square foot, 15 million dollar expansion!

Adding Two charging furnaces, one heat treating furnace, a 2500 ton hydraulic forging press with an eight station die train, a 300 ton radial ring roller, two quench tanks, three overhead cranes and a 10 ton mobile forging manipulator.

With these additional capabilities, Anderson Shumaker will be capable of producing the following sizes:

  • Bars up to 36” diameter or square up to 20,000 pounds max
  • Discs or pancake forging 54” diameter up to 15,000 pounds max
  • Blocks up to 48” cross section up to 15,000 pounds max
  • Rings up to 72” outside diameter 30” in height 10,000 pounds max

With many manufacturing plants leaving for overseas, Anderson Shumaker is proud to have manufactured all of its components for this expansion from US manufacturers. Keeping America strong!
